Patricia A. (Braley) Farrell, age 71, of Plaistow, NH, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Robert Farrell, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.

Pattie was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts on March 12, 1953. She was the daughter of the late Robert Francis Braley and Margaret Dorothy (Cranton) Braley.

She was a graduate of North Haven High School, Class of 1971, where she met her husband, Bob. After relocating to Hampstead NH, Pattie started her career as Kitchen Manager, at the Hampstead Central School, where she worked for over 30 years. She also worked part time and enjoyed serving customers at Walmart in Epping, where she built many lasting friendships.

Pattie was a woman of faith and always faced adversity with hope and trust in God. She was the foundation of our family and the root of our lives. We have never known a more devoted, strong, and resilient person. Her favorite days were spent with all of her children and grandchildren gathered together. She held traditions alive for her family and instilled a sense of living with purpose; homemade birthday cakes for every birthday, gingerbread men on Christmas Eve, and sharing the true meaning of each holiday with her grandchildren. She spent much of her childhood on the lake in Brownfield, Maine where her love for the water began. She has passed this love onto her children and grandchildren. She loved to travel and explore the outdoors with her late brother Malcolm and her husband, Bob. She will always be remembered for the fierce maternal love she held for her family, her wholehearted allegiance to God, and the delight she took in the arms of nature. Her life was a blessing and her memory, a treasure.

Patricia leaves behind her husband Bob, as well as her children Kelly Vasconcelos and her husband Mark, of Derry NH and her children Aidan and her husband Christopher, Olivia and Callie; Betsy Bugg and her husband André of Hampstead, NH and their children Ethan and Jaxon; Brian Farrell and his wife  Dru Farrell and their children Brian and Norah. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Patricia was sadly predeceased by her siblings Malcolm Rennie, Ronald Rennie, and Robert Braley Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 14th, 2024 from 4pm – 7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main Street Plaistow, NH. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at 11am, at West Congregational Church 767 Broadway Haverhill, MA.
