Plaistow: Patricia M. (Jones) Desantis, 83, of Plaistow, died peacefully at home on Saturday, January 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Boston, daughter of the late Peter and Florence (James) Jones, she was raised and educated in the Hyde Park section of the city, and graduated from Hyde Park High School with the Class of 1959. She also attended Boston University.

Patricia was employed for several years as a Medical Secretary at New England Baptist Hospital, Boston, until retiring to raise her children. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who excelled at creating a warm and loving home for her family.
She was an advocate for nature and animals and especially devoted to her feline friends. She volunteered many hours at the Nevins Farm of the MSPCA, in Methuen and was also a member of the American Wildlife Association and the Forest Society. An accomplished cook, specializing in Italian cuisine, she also enjoyed nature walks, flower and vegetable gardening, and collectibles.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of sixty-two years, Michael J. Desantis, Jr., three sons, Robert P. Desantis and his wife Amy of San Jose, CA, Christopher M. Desantis of Revere, MA, and Michael J. Desantis,III and his wife Jennifer of Nottingham, NH; four grandchildren, Derek, Seth, Chloe and Aidan Desantis; two great-grandchildren, Trent and Keenan, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Fritsche and Florence Lippman.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow. Her funeral service will follow at 5:15 in the chapel of the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to the MSPCA, Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen. MA.
