Plaistow: Norman H. Pelletier, 84 of Plaistow NH, passed away January 27, 2022, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
The son of George and Laura (Saulnier) Pelletier, he was raised and educated in Salem, Massachusetts.. He resided in Plaistow, NH and previously lived in Rowley, MA.
Norm was the ultimate entrepreneur who owned several businesses over the years. He was the owner of Northeast Trucking, Manager of many local Ice Rinks, and notably Ice House Christmas Trees on the North Shore for over 30 years. He retired from the Marblehead School Department.
A fan of all Boston sports, especially the New England Patriots. He enjoyed golfing, boating and traveling across the country in his Recreational Vehicles. He was devoted to his family, cat Daisy and his dog Archie.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Janice (Nadeau) Pelletier, a son Andrew Pelletier and his longtime companion Amy Calabro of Danvers, MA, his three daughters Jennifer Pelletier and her wife Mary Naughton of Peabody, MA, Allison Johnston and her husband Jeffrey of Plaistow, NH and Norina Rynearson and her husband Barry of Hummelstown, PA, six grandchildren, Mark and Amanda Johnston, Olivia Pelletier, Tyler, Ryan, Chad Lewis, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Norman's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home of Plaistow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the MSPCA, Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA.
