Obituary


Haverhill, MA: Norman J. Ouellette, 72, a long time resident of Haverhill died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill son of the late Leonide and Lucia (Arel) Ouellette, he attended St. Joseph's School and the Haverhill Trade School. A Vietnam War veteran, he served as an Airman 2nd Class in the United States Air Force from 1960-1963.

He worked in auto repair for 12 years and was most recently employed as a maintenance worker for Amtrak Railroads. Mr. Ouellette was a member of All Saints Parish. He enjoyed model ship building and wood working. He was also an avid football fan.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Ouellette of FL, two brothers, Robert J. Ouellette and his wife Terry of Plaistow, NH, and Paul J. Ouellette and his wife Patricia of Amesbury, a sister, Marie Lawson and her husband Paul of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in All Saints Church. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
