IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Norman F.
"Mouse" Labelle
November 9, 1938 – October 31, 2023
Haverhill: Norman F. "Mouse" LaBelle, 84 of Haverhill and a former twenty-five year resident of Kingston, NH, died peacefully on Tuesday morning, October 31, 2023.
Born and raised in Haverhill, Massachusetts, son of the late Raoul and Jeanne D'Arc (Pare) LaBelle, Norman attended Haverhill Public Schools. A 1957 graduate of Haverhill High School and the former Haverhill Trade School, he was a member of the 1955 State Championship Football Team. Playing as a running back he was nicknamed "Mouse", because of his small but rugged stature and the inability to be tackled on the field by the opposing team.
He was employed as a machinist at Wester Electric Co., AT&T Technologies and Lucent Technologies until his retirement and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Norman was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed golfing and bowling as a member of leagues at Academy Lanes in Bradford. A wintertime resident of Florida for twenty-five years, he also enjoyed camping, traveling in his motor home and trips to several Caribbean islands.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife of sixty-four years, Patricia L. (Brindle) LaBelle, two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael N. and Renee LaBelle of Haverhill, and Steven D. LaBelle and Marie Goguen of Kingston, NH; four grandchildren, Kevin LaBelle, Keri LaBelle, Crystal Morales-Coto and Heidi Ramsdell, and a great grand-daughter Autumn LaBelle.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
The family would like to thank the staff of Residences at Wingate and Baker-Katz Nursing Home for the care, comfort and support extended to Norman and his family during his final illness.
In lieu of flowers the family would like to suggest memorial donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
