Sandown, NH:  Nereira (Vega) Guzman, 84, of Sandown, NH and formerly of Florida and Lawrence, died on February 15, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Havana, Cuba, she was the daughter of Benito and Narcissa (Garcia) Vega.  She worked as an Assembler for Western Electric Company and A T & T Electronics, North Andover, MA and was a member of the C.W.A., AFL-CIO. She moved to Sandown from Lawrence in 2005.

Mrs. Guzman was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother – her family being the most important part of her life.  She enjoyed cooking and her home was always open to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Guzman; two sons, Daniel Guzman, Jr. of Sandown, NH and Roberto Guzman and his wife, Tina, of Sandown, NH; three daughters, Margie Healy and her husband, Michael of Sandown, NH, Betty Dick of Plaistow and Cary Hughes and her husband, Daniel Hickey of Sandown, NH; a sister, Magaly Lara of Boston, MA; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
