Plaistow, NH:  Nancy J. (Eason) Wood, 62, of Plaistow, died on October 14, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following a long illness.

Born and raised in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Ring) Eason. She was educated in Malden and graduated from Malden High School with the Class of 1975.  She worked for Shaw's Supermarket in Plaistow for twenty-three years as a Produce Clerk until her retirement. She had previously worked for Treismen's and for Chadwick's Greenhouses.

She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Plaistow Fish and Game Club.  An avid cook and baker, Nancy also enjoyed doing ceramics, motorcycling, camping, gardening and traveling. She especially enjoyed the cross country trip by train, that she experienced with her husband Bob. She was very devoted to her pets and had a love for all animals.

Nancy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-one years, Robert A. Wood; two sons, Robert A. Wood, Jr. and his wife, Jessica of Berwick, ME and John R. Wood and his wife, Ashley Winter of Plaistow, NH; two daughters, Sarah L. Leavitt and her husband, Christopher of Milford, NH and Alisa M. Wood of Douglas, MA; five grandchildren, Morgan Vega, Brandon Wood, Jeremy Yeomans, David Place, Jr. and Jacob Leavitt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nancy's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 4 to 7 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  A Funeral Service will follow at 7:15 PM in the funeral home.
