Nancy L. Buckley (Width) passed away peacefully at her home in Plaistow, NH on September 5, 2024 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband David G. Buckley whom she shared 55 years of marriage with. Born in Rahway, NJ, on February 17, 1941, she was the oldest of five children of the late Reidar Patrick Width and Ruth (Jarvis) Width.

She leaves behind four beloved siblings: Richard Width and wife Victoria, Tom Width and his husband Paul, Peggy Sneed, Lois Nelson and husband Jim.

Nancy grew up in Westfield, NJ and graduated from Westfield High School.

It was while attending Gordon that she met the love of her life. Nancy graduated in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.

Nancy was a substitute teacher for the Pentucket Regional School District. She also ran a Service Master business and supported her husband in many ventures including real estate, Carpet Hut and Turnkey Property Management in Haverhill, MA.

Nancy was an active member of the Congregational Church, Inc. of West Newbury, Massachusetts. She sang in the choir, served on the Christian Education committee, and volunteered at Vacation Bible School and Youth Club. In recent years she participated in a weekly Bible study.

She loved quilting, cooking, playing cribbage, and was an avid gardener.

She will forever be missed by her children Laurie Thorn and husband Richard, Scott Buckley and partner Judy, Todd Buckley and wife Doris. In addition to her children she was a beloved Grandma to Amie Mondello, Corey Schiavoni, Maddelynn Buckley, David P. Buckley, and Olivia Buckley.

Nancy also was a great grandmother to Stephen, Mason, Jamie, Bentley and Jaxon.

Nancy had many friends spanning decades and whom she shared treasured memories.

Arrangements:
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10 AM at the West Newbury Congregational Church, 308 Main Street, West Newbury. All are invited for a luncheon in Knowles Hall at the West Newbury Congregational Church following the service. Her burial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West NewburyCongregational Church, 308 Main St., West Newbury, MA 01985.
