IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nancy J.
Bartlett
January 5, 1939 – November 20, 2021
Hampstead NH: Nancy J. (Randall) Bartlett, 82, a resident of Hampstead, since 1962, died Saturday at her home.
Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Lena (Stevenson) Randall. She attended Haverhill Public Schools, including Haverhill High School.
A housewife and homemaker for most of her life, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed making a warm and loving home for her family. She was talented at decorating and enjoyed creating wreaths from the natural elements surrounding her home, like pine cones, leaves, and berries.
When her daughters were younger, she served as a Girl Scout Leader, and later on, she taught home economics at the Hampstead Central School. She was a kind hearted woman and thoroughly enjoyed the time that she spent serving lunch to the young students of the Hampstead Middle School.
Mrs. Bartlett was also an expert cake decorator and shared her talent for the many special occasions of her family and friends. She enjoyed the occasional trips to places like Aruba but was also satisfied swimming in Big Island Pond near her home in Hampstead. She made it a point to teach all of her grandchildren the finer points of diving.
Predeceased in 2004 by her husband, John F. Bartlett and by her son David Bartlett in 2020, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son John F. Bartlett, Jr. and his wife Kelley of Kingston, three daughters, Linda McKeown and her husband Tom of Dunstable, MA, Debra Bartlett of Hampstead, and Julie Knox and her husband James of Hampstead, eight grandchildren, Shawn and Michael Bartlett, Spencer McKeown, James, Jeffrey and Joshua Knox, and Jake and Emily Bartlett, three great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Bartlett's life Celebration to be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
