Haverhill: Myrtle (Lovelace) Tyrrell, 98, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at High Point House in Haverhill. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Tyrrell.

Myrtle was born in Cambridge MA on October 8, 1918 and later moved to Salem where she raised her three children and worked for many years at Almy's Department Store in Salem as a salesperson. As a woman, mother and grandmother, Myrtle was truly a member of America's "greatest generation". She was a great woman; great in spirit, great in heart, and especially great in kindness. She was also a true lady; soft spoken, understated and gracious.

She leaves behind her children, Dianne Kluge and Francis Tyrrell and was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Muse. She is survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her family is especially grateful to High Point Hospice House for the great care and kindness they showed throughout Myrtle's time there. The entire team was exceptional. The family would also like to thank the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center for their wonderful care as well.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 10 to 11:45 AM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Rt. 97, Haverhill, MA. Her Funeral Service will follow at 12 pm in the funeral home.
