Mona (Dickson) Jensen, 82, a resident of Hampstead, NH, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2024, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas C. Jensen.

She was born in Bethesda, Maryland, on April 8, 1944, and was the daughter of the late William Oscar and Louise Archer Dickson. Mona was raised and educated in Maryland. After graduating from MIT, she attended Cornell University in New York and later Babson College in Massachusetts, earning her Ph.D. in biochemistry and an MBA.

Mona was a researcher in clinical hematology at Instrumentation Laboratories for over 20 years and then moved to veterinary hematology at IDEXX Laboratories. She enjoyed genealogy and published her research in 2025. She was also a member of the DAR, the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Mona is survived by her children Aaron Jensen of Hampstead, NH, and Carla Jensen of College Park, MD.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 5pm – 7pm at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10:30am at the Danville Baptist Church, 226 Main St., Danville, NH 03819. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead, NH.
