Mikel Edward Tremblay age 52 of Plaistow, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

He was born on October 2, 1962 in Derry, NH the son of Edward and Beverly (Pomeroy) Tremblay. He was raised and educated in Plaistow and attended Timberlane Regional High School.

Mikel was a sprinkler fitter by trade and he worked for Hampshire Fire Protection as a fire sprinkler technician.

Mikel lived for his two boys, whether they were involved with wrestling, football or motocross. He was always there to support them and cheer them on. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. A loving son, Mikel enjoyed taking care of his parents and would make it a point to see them or talk to them every day. He loved spending time with his father, even if only going for a drive together. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, especially his dog and best friend, Rocco.

Mikel is survived by his parents, Edward and Beverly (Pomeroy) Tremblay of Kingston, NH. His sons, Shane M. Tremblay and Dylan E. Tremblay and step-son, Richard A. Melvin, all of Plaistow, NH. His sister, Lynda D. Chouinard and her fiancé, Paul A. King of Raymond, NH. His loving friend, Janett "Jan" Whelan of Plaistow, NH. His former spouse, Lisa M. Tremblay of Newton, NH. His nieces, Candace Chouinard and Jessi-Lee Grant and his nephew, Justin Chouinard. Mikel was predeceased by his brother, Randy J. Tremblay.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Tremblay's Life Celebration on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 3-5:00 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A), Plaistow, NH 03865. Funeral services will follow the Life Celebration at the funeral home at 5:15 PM.
