Haverhill, MA: Michael J. Seaman, 53, a lifelong resident of Haverhill died on May 17, 2015 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill son of Marlene (Langlois) Seaman and the late Donald Seaman, he graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1979.

Michael owned several small businesses in the area and most notably owned and operated Pentucket Patrol and Security for many years. A member of All Saints Parish and the former St. Joseph Parish, Michael was a licensed insurance and real estate broker.

Michael initiated the Haverhill Traveling Basketball Program and coached Haverhill Junior Football for many years. He was also a past member of the Haverhill Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by a son, Zachary, his mother, Marlene (Langlois) Seaman of Haverhill, a sister, Diane Seaman of Haverhill, a brother, Daniel J. Seaman and his wife Maureen of Haverhill, two nephews and a niece, Daniel J. Seaman, Jr, Patrick D. Seaman, and Miranda M. Seaman all of Haverhill, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Hilda Langlois, and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Freda Seaman.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, May 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. His funeral service will take place on Friday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home followed by burial in Linwood Cemetery.
