IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael R.
Leduc
July 14, 1971 – May 18, 2021
It breaks our hearts to announce that Michael LeDuc, our much-loved husband, son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend passed away on May 18th 2021. Brave and hopeful throughout countless surgeries, radiation and chemo treatments, he succumbed after a valiant battle with a rare sarcoma cancer.
Michael is survived by his wife Pam of 19 years, his parents Nancy and David LeDuc, sister Suzanne LeDuc and husband Joel LaVallee, sister Aimee LeDuc and husband Jeff Whipple, nieces Diana Gibson, Victoria Gibson, nephew Cameron Whipple, niece and Goddaughter Caitlyn Whipple, his adored cats Mimi, Nala and Oreo, as well as many loved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Michael's proudest accomplishments are the integral roles he played in projects during his 16 years at IBM and most recently with Liberty Mutual. When he was young, he loved to experiment with his father's "Vic 20" and fondly remembered EJ Gaudet, who encouraged him to pursue computer science while at Sanborn Regional High School. He went on to New Hampshire Tech to receive an associates CIS degree and to UNH for his bachelors.
An avid sports and music fan, he enjoyed visiting baseball stadiums around the country, attending Pearl Jam concerts and seeing local Dover bands with his friends. He enjoyed an eclectic mix of tv show genres and loved to watch mystery documentaries and older sitcoms like Seinfeld, Threes company... and if you knew Michael – Archie Bunker.
Michael adored his cats and took pleasure in giving them unique nicknames. It was his wish that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to Pope Memorial Humane Society at 221 County Farm Road, Dover NH. In Addition, the family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to Cornerstone VNA Hospice for helping him through his final days.
A scholarship fund will be setup in his memory at Sanborn Regional High School in the fall.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday, May 24, 2021, from 10 AM – 12 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
