Obituary

Michael (Mischa) husband of Catherine died on August 26 at the age of 70 in his home with family nearby. He was born on August 22, 1953 to Robert L Falkenburg and Joan (Jodie Keiser) in Jacksonsville, IL. They moved to Waldick, NJ where he lived until his mid-twenties. Michael attended Rowan University, formerly Glassboro State College. He was involved with WGLS, the college radio station, being a dj and producing various music productions. He met Catherine at the radio station discovering their shared interests in music and the arts. They later married in May 1989.
Michael was a musician and composer. He played piano, various guitars, and woodwinds. He has three of his compositions on You Tube, published by cmntx records and a partial interview, again on You Tube, " The History of Mischa Falkenburg//expositions.
He was quick-witted, exceptional, and loved his family deeply. Family and his faith were the most important part of his life. He was supportive and always helpful to family and others, greeting all with a welcoming smile.
Michael is survived by his wife Catherine, his sons Nathanael (wife Meredith) Jonathan (fiancee Alexandra), sister Pammie Rogers (husband Charlie). He was predeceased by his sister Debbie Duryea (husband Alan). He was also uncle to Colin, Aimee, Jack and Scott.
A private Celebration of Life will be held later this month.
