Methuen, MA: Michael A. Dinsmore, "Dinzy", 65, of Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully with loved ones surrounding him on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton, MA.

Born in Chelsea, MA, Mike was the son of Margaret (Petell) Dinsmore of North Andover, MA and the late Robert Dinsmore, Sr., growing up in Haverhill, MA and North Andover, MA he was a graduate of North Andover High School, Class of 1974.

After High school Mike proudly served in the United States Navy where he was a sailor on the U.S.S. Fox in the Vietnam War, and also learned the skills of a machinist. He worked for over thirty years as a talented machinist for companies like Sig Sauer in Exeter, NH, and Berkshire Manufactured Products, in Newburyport, MA.

When he was not working hard, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and looked forward to long rides with his brothers and friends. He also liked watching the History Channel and cheering on the Patriots. But most of all, Mike loved his family, cookouts, his brothers, and being a loving father. And his family loved him, especially his hilarious, sometimes twisted sense of humor.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son Michael Dinsmore, Jr., and his wife April of Salem, NH, daughters, Alexia Trueblood and her husband Joseph, of Lafayettte, IN, and Katie Dinsmore and her partner Richard Bilodeau of Hooksett, NH, brothers, Robert Dinsmore and his wife Linda of North Andover, MA, Darrell Dinsmore of Methuen, MA, and Steven Dinsmore of Salem, NH, grandchildren, Jake, Kolby, Kevin, Carina, Piper, Cameron, Sean, Julian, former longtime partner, Audrey Melito of Salem, NH, stepsons, Stephen Melito and his wife Julie of Salem, NH, and Christopher Melito of Bradford, MA, stepdaughter, Heather Melito-Dezan and her husband Keith of Salem, NH, as well as his nephews and nieces. Mike was predeceased by his brother Daniel Dinsmore.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday December 15, 2020, at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH, following the guidelines of the State of New Hampshire for social distancing and the wearing of face masks in the funeral home. His Funeral Service will follow from the funeral home at 7:15 pm concluding with U.S. Navy Honors at the funeral home's Military Honors Plaza.
