Atkinson, NH:  Michael A. DelCore, 87, of Atkinson, NH and formerly of Brooklyn, NY, died on February 24, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Ralph and Catherine (Bartolomeo) DelCore, he graduated from Fort Hamilton High School.  He worked as a Manager at Pitney-Bowes Company for thirty-nine-years, until his retirement in 1989.

A member of St. Anne's Parish, Mr. DelCore volunteered his time at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH.  He enjoyed wine making and traveling around the world.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one-years, Joan (Notine) DelCore; two sons, Michael G. DelCore, M.D. and his wife, Lori of Omaha, NE and Ronald DelCore and his wife, Catherine of East Hampstead, NH; a daughter, Jeanmarie Furman and her husband, Richard of Oyster Bay, NY; a brother, Ralph DelCore; eight grandchildren, Alisandrea Elson, Michael A. DelCore, M.D., Lauriana DelCore, Anthony DelCore, Nicholas DelCore,  Sarah DelCore, Isabella Furman and Evan Furman and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may attend Michael's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 4 – 8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  His funeral will begin on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 9:15 AM in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM in St. Anne's Church, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead,  NH.  Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
