East Hampstead, NH: Michael James Archetti, 83, a resident of East Hampstead since 1969, died Suddenly on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Parkland Hospital in Derry.
Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, son of the late James and Anne (Fiorentini) Archetti, he was raised and educated in the Haverhill/Bradford area and graduated from Haverhill High School. Michael later went on to receive his Associates Degree in Business from Northern Essex Community College. He established Archetti Sales and Marketing in 1983.
A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Michael enjoyed working in his yard and hosting his family every Sunday for a cookout during the summer months, and especially enjoyed hosting his annual Fourth of July celebration. He was an accomplished cook and well known for his homemade pasta. Michael was an avid athlete, playing softball in the Haverhill Men's League, and served as a coach for his son's basketball team and was a loyal fan of the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. He was a longtime member and Past-President of the Hampstead Lions Club.
Predeceased on May 17,2024 by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Corinne (Hatem) Archetti, he is survived by two sons, Michael L. Archetti of East Hampstead, and James A. Archetti of Salem, NH, two grandchildren, Alyssa Archetti and Alex Archetti, a brother Daniel Archetti, of Portsmouth, NH, two sisters, Diane Foss of Atkinson, and Jane Brasil of Hudson, NH, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
