Haverhill: Melissa I. Burgos, 35, of Haverhill died on June 23, 2016 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, following and long and courageous battle with a lengthy illness, and surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, daughter of Juan and Melinda (Crowell) Burgos, she was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1999 and received her Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Mount Ida College in Newton Center. She was employed as Veterinary Technician at MKS Instruments of North Andover and previously worked at Toxikon Corporation of Bedford and Eye Gate Pharmaceuticals of Waltham.

Melissa attended the New Life Christian Assembly of God Church in Haverhill and enjoyed gardening, dancing, sketching and painting.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents, Juan and Melinda (Crowell) Burgos of Gilford, NH, sister and brother-in-law, Candida M. and Christopher Provencher and their children Sophia and Sebastien Provencher, all of Germany, and several aunts uncles and cousins.
