East Hampstead: Maureen Elaine (Madden) Bryan, 70, a resident of 40 years formerly of 13 Russet Lane, East Hampstead, NH, daughter of the late James Madden and Louise (Brown) Madden, passed away peacefully, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on May 29, 2017. Born October 9, 1946, Maureen attended school in Denver, CO before moving to New Hampshire, and later working for the Laidlaw Bus Company in the Hampstead area, where she enjoyed driving schoolchildren each day.
Predeceased by her loving husband Stephen R. Bryan, Maureen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons Stephen Bryan and his companion Judi Bellamore of No. Andover, and Christopher Bryan of Daytona Beach, FL, her daughter Deborah Bryan-Ducharme and her husband John of E. Hampstead, NH, brothers James Madden of NV, and two sisters Judy Moore and her husband Thomas of Phoenix, AZ, and Janet Davis, also of Phoenix, AZ. Maureen leaves 8 grandchildren, Jacquelyn A. Taylor, William J. White II, Mason J. White, Michael Green, Lillian Bryan, Victoria Bryan, Emily Rondeau, and Olivia Rondeau and 2 great-grandchildren, Isabella C. Bowen, and Brayden J. Taylor, 3 sisters in-law, many nieces and nephews and good friends. Maureen was predeceased by her brother Kenneth Madden.
Remembered for the love she showed to her grandchildren, she was also known as an avid reader, and enjoyed reading romance novels. Her trips to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, mark some of the most enjoyable times she travelled. She looked for the joy of life, and shared it with everyone she met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Calling Hours for Mrs. Bryan Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 5-8:00pm at BERUBE-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA with a funeral service the following morning, June 1, 2017 beginning at the funeral home at 9:45 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Anne's Parish in Hampstead, NH.
