Haverhill: MaryJane (Hansen)Pike, age 77 of Haverhill, MA passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, NC. She was born in Haverhill to the late Albert Thomas and Mary Helen (Smith) Hansen on October 31, 1946. MaryJane was raised and educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill High School and Northern Essex Community College where she studied to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a caregiver at heart, feeling a sense of fulfillment in caring for all of her loved ones. An avid church goer growing up, she was a member of the Alliance Church, she taught the word of God to her family for which they will forever be grateful. She was most happy while spending time with family, friends and the many cats she adopted over the years.

Mary Jane was predeceased by her partner, Edward Hamel; daughter, Michelle (Benard)Ackerman; grandson, Matthew Benard and brother, Thomas Hansen. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Pike, her husband Todd and Laura Pike; sons, Christopher Pike, Brian Pike and his wife Christy; their father, David Pike; grandchildren, Jennifer (Benard)Bocchino and her husband Carlo, Andrew Pike, Alycia (Pike)Brett and her husband Steve, Trinity Pike, Zachary Ackerman, Ethan Pike, Kerri Bergeron, Ashlee Pike and Shawn Pike. She also leaves her brother John Hansen and his wife Diane; sister-in-law, Anne Hansen; son in law, Richard Ackerman as well as many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill MA. Her funeral service will follow at 5:15 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
