IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Maryann
Vaillancourt
November 12, 1938 – January 1, 2022
Maryann Vaillancourt, 83, of Plaistow, NH passed away Saturday January 1, 2022, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 12, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Vincezena ( Mezzerindino) and John Stropparo.
Born and raised in Fitchburg, MA, Maryann graduated from Fitchburg High School. She owned and operated Sweet Hill Kindergarten in Plaistow from 1977 until her retirement in 2003. She loved children and to this day was affectionately known to past students and their families as "Mrs. V"
Maryann loved to travel, fulfilling her dream to visit Italy with her longtime companion Frank Quintiliani, who will miss his daily visits and card games. She enjoyed Italian cooking, as she was so proud of her heritage, sewing, spending time with her family, and playing cards with close friends. She was always there to lend a helping hand or a caring ear. Maryann was a member of St. Luke's in Plaistow where, years ago, enjoyed teaching CCD. She was also a member of the Red Hats Society and donated het time to the Haverhill Sons of Italy, rolling many a meatball for gatherings.
Along with her parents, Maryann was predeceased by her brother Alfred Stropparo and sister Louise Katon.
Maryann will be deeply missed by her three children: Dawn Vaillancourt, Marie MacDonald and her husband Michael, and Gregg Vaillancourt, all of Plaistow, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Rockingham VNA & Hospice and especially Silas, who showed a tremendous amount of compassion and support in Maryann's final days.
