Obituary


Andover: Mary Lou (Grammont) Wedge, 77, of Andover and formerly of Haverhill, died suddenly on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at her home from natural causes.


Born in Manchester, NH and raised and educated in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late George and Dorothy (Colby) Grammont.


Mrs. Wedge was last employed as a baker at Dunkin Donuts in North Andover, and had previously worked as a supervisor in the Home Goods Department of the former Parke-Snow Store in Haverhill, and also at the former Woolworth's Store on Merrimack St. Haverhill and the gift shop of the Lawrence General Hospital.


A resident of Andover for the past several years, Mrs. Wedge was a member of Saint Augustine Parish and the former Saint Joseph Parish of Haverhill.


An avid reader, who also appreciated all types of music, she was very devoted to her grandsons and also was fond of her pet cat "Brandy".


She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Michael Charewicz, of Andover, a son Mark Wedge of Bethany, OK, grandsons, Jason Charewicz and Brett Charewicz of Andover, step-grandchildren, Sam Watkins, Bailey Watkins, James Watkins, and Ben Watkins, and several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 9 to10:30 a.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11a.m. in All saints Church , 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, with burial in Walnut cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Agnes Parish, 22 Boston St., Middleton, MA, 01949.
