Mary J. (Osborne) McEachern, 89, a resident of East Hampstead, NH, died on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Aspen Hill Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Haverhill, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late George L. McEachern with whom she shared 36 years of marriage.

She was born in Montpelier, VT on January 14, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Mitchell Woods Osborne  and Isabelle Viola (Ashley) Osborne. Mary was raised in Essex, MA and was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1955. She was employed as an assembler at Parker Brothers in Salem, MA for thirty years. She later worked at Devcon in Danvers MA for fifteen years until her retirement. Mary enjoyed diamond painting, puzzle books and making jewelry and watching British mystery series on PBS.

Mary is survived by her children Joyce M. Gamble of Atkinson, NH, and Julie A. O'Connell and her husband Daniel of Hampstead, NH, Michael R. McEachern of South Dakota, her grandchildren Richard Gamble Jr and his wife Vanessa, Jonathan Gamble and his wife Kerry, Staff Sergeant Emily Gamble and her husband Daril Oliver, Seamus Byrne and his wife Sarah, Nolan O'Connell and his wife Jessica and Justin McEachern and Michael McEachern  Jr. Her great grandchildren Victoria, Charlotte, Avery, Wyatt, Waylon, Harley Owen and Cian.

She was sadly predeceased by her brother Francis Osborne.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Aspen Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for the wonderful care and support they provided to Mrs. McEachern during her illness.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 9am-11am at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. A private graveside service will follow at 12:30pm at Spring Street Cemetery in Essex, MA.
