Groveland, MA: Mary-Lois LaPierre, 74, of Groveland and formerly of Haverhill died on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late Urbain and Mary C. (Hardiman) LaPierre, she worked as a bench hand for Opportunity Workshops for many years.

Devoted to her family, she was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish and enjoyed bowling, swimming, music, and dancing.

She is survived by her brothers, John A. LaPierre and his wife Frances of Newburyport, Ronald A. LaPierre and his wife Anne of Newburyport, William F. LaPierre of Haverhill, and Kenneth A. LaPierre of St. Petersburg, FL, a sister, Dianne Weeks of Plum Island, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. A private family burial service will take place in St. James Cemetery at a later date.
