Mary Irene DeMatteo - Haverhill



Mary Irene (D'Eon) DeMatteo, 82, a lifelong Haverhill resident, died August 20, 2012.



She was the youngest child of Agnes (Pothier) and Charles Theodore D'Eon.Irene worked at the Western Electric Company and retired from Alcatel-Lucent working as a directory assistance operator for many years.



Irene was predeceased by her husband Antonio (Tony) in 2001.Three sisters and four brothers also predeceased her.



Irene is survived by her son Mark DeMatteo, daughter Lisa Rosengard, and daughter Susan Gordon and her husband Cliff, all of Haverhill as well as daughter Andrea Pepin-Dryden and her husband Ronald of Andover, MA.Eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews also survive her.



There are no calling hours and funeral services are private at the request of Irene's family.
