Kingston, NH: Martha J. (Meyers) Trainor, 62, of Kingston, died May 23, 2020 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born in Calgary, Province of Alberta, Canada, and daughter of Kenneth Meyers and the late Jean (Turner) Meyers, she was raised and educated in Canada and Long Island, NY. She attended Liberty University and later Gordon College.

Martha was presently a first grade teacher at Tri-City Christian Academy in Somersworth and the Director of Children's Ministries at Kingston First Congregational Church. She previously was employed as a teacher at Portsmouth Christian Academy.

Martha was a longtime member and board member of the Kingston First Congregational Church and was an avid Disney fan and enjoyed trips to Disney World to celebrate any occasion. She also enjoyed cruises, scuba diving, fly fishing and walking her dog "Jake". Because Christmas was her favorite holiday, she always managed to create an amazing atmosphere for her family, decorating her home with snowmen of every imaginable size. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and church member and friend to many of her colleagues.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of twenty-four years, George A. Trainor, a son Casey J. Kirkland of Madras, Oregon, three daughters, Shauna M. (Kirkland) Cardone and her husband Andrew of Kingston , NH,  Mackenzie N. Trainor and Madison C.J. Trainor , both of Kingston, her father Kenneth Meyers and his wife JoAnne of Middlebury, VT, a sister Ruth Marvin and her husband Kurt of Franklin, NH, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George A, Sr. and Catherine Trainor of Peabody, MA, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Rensing.

Due to the national health emergency, the funeral service and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private for the immediate family.
