Mark S. Fitzgerald, 73, of Glendale, Arizona,  passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Born January 4, 1949 in Lawrence, MA son to Bernadine A. (Bergeron) and the late John D. Fitzgerald, he was raised and educated in Plaistow, NH and was a member of the first graduating class of Timberlane Reginal High School in 1967. He attended Plymouth State College before joining and proudly serving in the United States Air Force from 1968-1971 as Sergeant and was the recipient of the National Defense Medal, Small Arms Marksmanship Ribbon and Missileman Badge. He worked for the Arizona Public Service Company for almost 30 years and was Section Leader I and C planning before retiring in December 2017.

Mark Loved spending time with his family, golfing, traveling, scuba diving, reading, crossword puzzles and was a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Shelly (Clark) Fitzgerald; sons, Christopher Fitzgerald, Scott Fitzgerald and wife, Angela, Mark Fitzgerald and wife, Ashley, Michael Fitzgerald and significant other, Chelsea Coen, stepson, Zachery Thomas and wife, Christie, stepdaughter, Melinda Genchi and husband, Sam, thirteen grandchildren,  all of Phoenix, AZ; his mother, Bernadine A. Fitzgerald of Plaistow, NH; siblings, Maryann Wilson of Hampton, NH, John "Jay" Fitzgerald, Anna Gentile, Luke Fitzgerald and their spouses,  all of Plaistow, NH; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and his faithful companions,  Gus and Chloe. He was predeceased by his first wife, Pamela (Kinion) Fitzgerald and his brother, Matthew C. Fitzgerald.
