Obituary

Plaistow, NH: Mark P. Bloom, 58, of Plaistow, died on June 13, 2018 at Exeter Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Dunedin, Florida, son of Philip J. Bloom and the late Susan (Driscoll) Bloom, he was raised and educated in Florida and Stoneham, Massachusetts. Mark graduated Stoneham High School, with the Class of 1978, where he was a member of the Varsity Hockey Team. He later received his Associates Degree from Middlesex Community College.
A resident of Plaistow since 1998, Mark was semi-retired and working part-time for J.J.S. Laconia, as a facilities maintenance manager. He was a member of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, The Saint Jude Council of the Knights of Columbus and the NRA. He enjoyed working out at World Gym in Plaistow and weight lifting. A fan of all Boston sports teams, he was a devoted lover of animals and a dog owner. He also enjoyed keeping in touch with his many friends and family on social media as well as maintaining his beautiful property and gardens around his home.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his parents, Philip and Annette (Senechal) Bloom of Bristol, NH and Medford, MA, his siblings Michael C. Bloom and his wife Lorrie of Williamstown, MA, Sean Walsh of Wakefield, MA, Timothy Walsh of Effingham, NH, Peggy Norton and her husband Barry, Kate Anderson and her husband Chuck, and Patrick Walsh and his wife Amy, all of Medford, MA and Mary Green and her husband Joseph of Billerica, MA, his twelve nieces and nephews, Susan, Sarah, Michael, Aidan, Sean A., Barry, Joseph, Daniel, Maggie, Billy, Brooke and J.T., also several aunts, uncles and cousins, especially his aunt Rosalie Johnson, who has been his advocate and dedicated caregiver during this past year.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mark's Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow. A reception for family and friends will immediately follow the Mass in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of mark be made to BIANH, The Brain Injury Association of NH, 52 Pleasant St., Concord, NH 03301 or to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society LLS.org , 495 Old Connecticut Path Ste. 22, Framingham, MA 01701.
