Plaistow, NH: Marion (Patrikas) Olsen, 86, of Plaistow died on July 27, 2016 at Berkeley Nursing and Retirement Center in Lawrence.

Born, raised, and educated in Lynn, daughter of the late George and Catherine (Asotatis) Patrikas, she graduated from Lynn Classical High School with the Class of 1948.

Mrs. Olsen was employed for a brief time at the IRS but was primarily a housewife and homemaker for her husband and children.

A member of St. George's Greek Orthodox Church in Lynn, Mrs. Olsen was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Olsen in 1983, and is survived by two sons, Danforth Olsen of Haverhill, and George Olsen and his wife Patricia of Newton, NH, three daughters, Kathleen LeColst and her husband Kenneth of Middleton, MA, Georgia Serven and her husband Douglas of Westerly, RI, and Gail Farmer of Florida, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, August 1 from 10 to 12 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 12:15 p.m. in the funeral home followed by burial in Plaistow Cemetery.
