NORTH ANDOVER – Marilyn F. (Hand) Richardson, 86, a resident of North Andover, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Arlington, MA on June 7, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Eleanor M. (Schoelch) Hand.

Marilyn had worked as an LPN at New England Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a highly social person who was a member of the Red Hat Society, the North Andover Senior Center, she enjoyed traveling, and was a very independent person. She always loved the seaside, wherever it be, particularly Ocean Park, Maine where she spent many child and adulthood summers.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Donald Richardson and his wife Donna of Atkinson, NH, Steven Richardson of Myrtle Beach, SC, and David Richardson and his wife Ellen of Tewksbury, MA; her grandchildren Christopher, Kenneth, Kyle, and Kaitlyn; her great-grandchildren Abigail, Gauge, Maison, Kelsen and Krew; her sister Joanna Lindh. She was sadly predeceased by her granddaughter Kelsey Richardson.

Visiting Hours will be held on Monday April 17, 2023 from 10AM – 12PM at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 12:15PM.
