Marilyn J. Perry, 62, of Haverhill, MA, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Haverhill on February 28, 1962 to Charles and Elinor (Leavitt) Chrigstrom. Marilyn was raised in Newton, NH where she helped with her family's dairy farm from a very young age. She loved working on the farm, and being surrounded by the animals, especially the cows. She was a graduate of Sanborn Regional High School, Class of 1980.  She was a mother in identity and worked several jobs to care for her children. Later in life once her children were grown, she began caring for other people's children through foster care. She devoted her entire life to caring for others and she did so in a way that made every person she cared about feel like the most special person in the world. Those who knew her well described her as a powerhouse of care and empathy, a fierce advocate, selfless, the embodiment of all that is good in the world and stating it is hard to imagine a world without her in it.

She shared 26 happy years of marriage with her husband Roger J. Perry Jr whom she is survived by. She is also survived by her children Tara Chrigstrom of MA, Katy and Elvin Perez of MA, Charles Palmer of MA, Katlyn and Andrew Bulu of ME, and Roger Perry of ME, her grandchildren Gavin, Brandan, Alex, Barry, Alani and Sofia, her brother Robert Chrigstrom of NH, her sister Cheryl Bowen and partner Bob Jackson of NH, and her foster children Sandra, Chanveasna, and Alex.  She was sadly predeceased by her sister Carol Richardson.

Her funeral service and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Farmland.org or Stopsarcoidosis.org.
