Methuen, MA: Marie Agnes (Theriault) (Bernier) Corey, 90, of Methuen and a former longtime resident of Haverhill, died on July 10, 2016 at Methuen Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in South Lawrence, MA, daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Houde) Theriault, Mrs. Corey attended Sacred Hearts Grammar School and graduated from Lawrence High School with the Class of 1943.

Mrs. Corey was employed in Quality Control at Western Electric Company, from where she retired in 1980 after twenty years of service. Following her retirement, she volunteered as a driver to bring cancer patients to their various treatments.

A member of All Saints Parish in Haverhill and the Telephone Pioneers of America, Mrs. Corey loved making over seventy beautiful Afghans for her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and even the patients that she drove to their cancer treatments. She also enjoyed playing 45's.

Mrs. Corey was the widow of Edgar L. Bernier who died in 1970 and Chickory Corey who died in 1981, and was predeceased by her daughter, Betty Anne Fedenyszen in 2001. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons and their wives, Kenneth E. and Linda Bernier of The Villages, FL, and Ronald and Lynn Bernier Maricopa, AZ, four brothers, Arthur Theriault of Salem, NH, Robert Theriault and his wife Martha of Connecticut, Dr. Norman Theriault and his wife Tonya of Wakefield, MA, and Lee Theriault of Coco Beach, FL, seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah, Joel, Christopher, Jennifer, Melissa, and Bryan, fourteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Albert, and Richard Theriault.

There are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Corey's Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 28 at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Mrs. Corey's memory may be made to the ALS Angel Fund, 649 Main Street, Wakefield, MA 01880.
