Plaistow, NH: Marie H. (Nolin) Machado, 97, of Plaistow, NH, and formerly of Haverhill, MA, died July 23, 2025, at Holy Family/ Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill. Born in Groveland, MA, December 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Hilda (Girard) Nolin and was raised and educated in Haverhill. Mrs. Machado was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1945. She was employed for many years as an assembler and lead at Western Electric Co., AT&T Technologies, and Lucent Technologies and later worked in the Shoe Department of Wal-Mart.

A member of All Saint Parish of Haverhill, and the former Saint Joseph Parish, she was also a member of the Communication Workers of America and the Telephone Pioneers. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she valued time with her family, as well as casinos, camping, and loved dancing and singing.

Predeceased in 2001 by her beloved husband of forty-eight years, Frank P. Machado Jr., and in 1997 by her son, Mark D. Machado, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne M. and Debra A. Machado of Plaistow, four grandsons, Jared A. Machado, Dylan M. Machado, Lucas A. Machado, and Mark J. Machado, two great grandchildren Dalia Machado and Austin Machado and several cousins, nieces and nephew. She was also predeceased by brothers, Ernest Nolin and Gerard Nolin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marie's Life Celebration to be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home and followed by interment in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill.
