Haverhill: Maria K. (Kulaczkowska) Suchorski, 90, a resident of Haverhill for the past sixty-four years, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, November 22, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born, raised and educated in Bokow, Poland, on September 12, 1926,she was the daughter of the late Charles and Carolina Kulaczkowska. In 1943, she was taken by German troops to work in the labor camps in Germany where she met and married her husbandand had two daughters. She and her family immigrated to the United States in 1950, settlingin Virginia where their son was born. In 1952, the family moved to the Haverhill area. Mariaworked first in the local shoe industry and later was employed at Western Electric Co and A T & T Technologies until her retirement in 1988.
A member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Michael's Parish, she enjoyed reading, sewing and crafts and being a homemaker for her husband and family.
Maria was the wife of the late Jan Suchorski who died in 2001. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Anna Suchorska, who lovingly cared for her, and Irene "Artie" Suchorski, both of Haverhill; a son Richard Suchorski of East Bridgewater; grandson and his wife Christopher and Emily Suchorski of Scituate;daughter-in-law, Janet Suchorski of Weymouth; andmany nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Poland and Germany; also her cat Candyella.
We will miss you mama, every day for the rest of our lives.
