Kingston, NH: Margaret E. (Perrault) Blackburn, 89, of Kingston died on Friday, November 1, 2013 in Newton, NH surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Haverhill, MA daughter the late Allie E. and Bessie (Smith) Perrault, she was raised in Haverhill, Plaistow, and Newton and attended local schools. She worked as a wood heal coverer for the local shoe industry.
She was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish and the former Parish of Mary Mother of the Church, Newton and the Ladies' Auxiliary of the VFW of Kingston. An avid reader, she enjoyed crocheting and jig saw puzzles.
The wife of that late Robert W. Blackburn, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary P. and Ralph E. Fellows of Newton, four grandchildren, Doug, Jason, Melendy, and Jana, and 11 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Steven R. Blackburn, five sisters, Pauline Garrity, Louise Surrette, Elizabeth Thibodeau, Mary Jameson, and Theresa Merrifield, and six brothers, Frank, Russell, Alfred, John, Ralph, and Robert Perrault.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday, November 4, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Haverhill.
