Atkinson – Margaret Bardsley Elliott, 104, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2024 at the All American Assisted Living at Kingston following a period of failing health.

Born July 30, 1919, in Rolla, MO, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth (Clayton) Bardsley.

Margaret had worked as a schoolteacher for many years in the Hudson School District in Hudson, OH.

She was an accomplished musician and was able to play many instruments. She was an avid knitter, and walker. Margaret was also a member of the National Storytellers Association.

Members of her family include her children James Elliott and wife Marrianne of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and Marc Elliott and wife Kathy of Atkinson, NH; three grandchildren John, Margaret, and Edward, and three great grandchildren Elliott, Eleanor, and Emily, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Everett E. Elliott, and her two sisters Catherine Eisenberg, and Elanore Flanagan.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday March 14, 2024 from 4 PM – 7 PM at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH.

A memorial service will be announced in the spring.
