Margaret (Peggy) Ann Alosi, age 83, a resident of Atkinson, passed away at New Haven Assisted Living in Wylie, Texas on March 19, 2022 after a short illness. She was a member of Saint Anne Parish, Hampstead, NH.
Peggy was born on July 13, 1938 in Fall River, Massachusetts to the late Peter and Margaret Fazio. She was raised in Fall River and Portsmouth, Rhode Island. She graduated from Mt Saint Mary Academy in 1956 and later attended Becker College and graduated in 1958. She worked at Lawrence General Hospital in the Radiology Department for over 20 years.
A resident of Lawrence for many years before relocating to Atkinson in 1989, Peggy loved watching all New England sports, especially the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She enjoyed serving in a local food pantry for a number of years. She also loved supporting local animal shelters and other animal rescue agencies. She loved her cats, New England, and especially her family.
Peggy was predeceased by her loving husband, James C. Alosi whom she was married to for over 50 years and her parents, Peter and Margaret Fazio. She is survived by her son, Christopher Alosi and his wife Tanya, a grandson, Kyle and his wife, Kristen, a granddaughter, Taryn, and a great-granddaughter, Kira Belle, whom all reside in the Wylie, Texas area. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Brian Alosi and many special cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 9:00 to 10:30 am at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am at Saint Anne Parish, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead NH. Burial is to follow at the Atkinson Cemetery.
