Obituary


East Kingston, NH: Malcolm D. McLeod, 72, of East Kingston and formerly of Haverhill, MA, died Friday evening, October 14, 2016 at Exeter Hospital, after being stricken at home.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, son of the late James McLeod and Pauline (Batchelder) (McLeod) Abrahamson, he was a member of Haverhill High School Class of 1961 and attended Northern Essex Community College.

Mr. McLeod was employed for thirty-four years as an extruder operator for Borden Chemical of North Andover, and for ten years as a die setter at Velcro USA of Manchester, NH until his retirement.

Mr. McLeod enjoyed photography, attending antique boat shows and meticulously caring for his lawn.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-one years, Pauline R. (Legault) (Lemieux) McLeod, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles W. Lemieux of Derry and Mark A. and Anna Lemieux of East Kingston, a daughter and son-in-law, Linda J. and David Veilleux of Epping, a sister Carolyn Mitchell of Arizona, seven grandchildren, Laura, Melanie, Tiffany, Theresa, Anthony "TJ", Casey and Lance, four great grandchildren, Aalyah, Paige, Joyce and Sophia and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. McLeod's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 12 P.M. until 2 P.M. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH.
