Bedford, NH:  Madelyn R "Bobbie" (McCoy) Midgley, 83, a former resident of Hampstead, died January 4, 2018 at Bedford Hills Center in Bedford, NH.
Born in Roxbury, MA, daughter of the late David and Sarah (Jack) McCoy, she was raised and educated in North Andover. A member of the Johnson High School Class of 1952, Mrs. Midgley was employed for many years as a circuit board assembler at Modicom of North Andover. She also worked as a waitress and bartender in local restaurants.
A longtime member of the Trinitarian Congregational Church of North Andover, Mrs. Midgley was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with and traveling with family and friends.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty-four years, Albert R. Midgley, two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Mark LeBoeuf of Hudson, NH, and Susan and Edward S. Kawa,Jr of Danville, a son Albert R. Midgley, Jr of Hudson, six grandchildren, Matt LeBoeuf, Julie (LeBoeuf) Conrow, Amanda Kawa, Edward S. Kawa,III, Richard Midgley and Stephanie Midgley, five great grandchildren, Kayla, Gabe, Jace, Dylan, and Maday, and several nieces and nephews.
At Mrs. Midgley's request, there will be no services scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. The family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society or to Make-a-Wish Foundation of NH.
