Bedford - M. Jeanette Rundle, 91, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the Bedford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a period of declining health. Born on December 12, 1932, in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Panneton) Sweeney.
Jeanette dedicated her career to public service, working as an auditor for the IRS and later as a budget analyst for the U.S. Air Force until her retirement. She found joy in various hobbies including crafting, reading, spending time by the lake, playing cards, and watching John Wayne movies. She had a fondness for the music of Willie Nelson and Alan Jackson.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Carrow of Manchester, NH; Gary Rundle and wife Margaret of Noblesville, IN; Kim Cyr; and Sandy Nierman of Newton, NH, along with her grandchildren: Mandy; Joe; Erin; Danny; Amy; Amber; Dalton; Cory; Megan; Michael; and Emily,
and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Sweeney of Derry, NH, and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Frances Rundle, and three children: Robert Carrow, Cheryl Currier, and Gail Rundle.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM in the chapel of the funeral home, followed by burial at Maplewood Cemetery in Plaistow.
