Haverhill, MA: Lucille S. (Gallant) Seymour, 95, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, died January 18, 2022 at Hannah Duston Health Care in Haverhill.

Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Benoit and Mabel (Downey) Gallant, she attended Haverhill schools and graduated from Haverhill High School. She was employed in the local shoe industry for many years and later in local defense companies. She was a member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill and her hobbies included golfing and traveling.

Predeceased in 2013 by her husband of sixty-two years, Richard A. Seymour, she was also predeceased by her brothers Donald Gallant and Raymond Gallant. She is survived by many nieces and nephews including Donna Vizard, Janet Parker, Steve Bogrett and David Bogrett, and many grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday morning, January 26, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will begin at 10:45 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
