Atkinson, NH: Lucille E. (Johnson) Nelson, 87, a resident of the town of Atkinson for the past twenty-eight years, and formerly of North Andover, died peacefully on November 9, 2021 at High Point Hospice House in Haverhill, and is now with the Lord.

Born, raised and educated in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Clifford W. and Ethel (Olson) Johnson, she graduated from Fort Hamilton High School.  Mrs. Nelson worked in several doctors' offices over the years but was primarily a housewife and homemaker. A devoted wife and loving mother, she enjoyed painting, creative writing, Bible study and church, and making a warm and inviting home for her family.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving husband of sixty-seven years, William M. Nelson, three sons, Clifford W. Nelson and his wife Kathleen of Deerfield, NH, William E. Nelson of Hooksett, and Paul C. Nelson and his wife Sherri of Webster, NH, a daughter Karen E. Smith and her husband William of Atkinson, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
