Newburyport, MA:  Lucille P. (Fournier) Kemp, 83, formerly of Haverhill, MA and Groveland, MA, died on March 19, 2018 at the Country Center for Health & Rehabilitation, Newburyport, MA.

Born in Lawrence, MA, daughter of the late Albert and Blanche (Lemoine) Fournier, she attended Lawrence and Haverhill schools.  A longtime resident of Haverhill, she worked as an Inspector for A T & T Technologies, North Andover, MA for twenty-three years until her retirement in 1994.  She moved to Groveland in 2005.

She was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish and All Saints Parish, Haverhill, the C.W.A. Retiree and the Telephone Pioneers of America.  Mrs. Kemp was an avid puzzle maker and enjoyed playing bingo.  She loved to color for relaxation and was a New England Patriots' fan and especially a fan of "her" Tom Brady.

The wife of the late Joseph W. Kemp who died in 2013, she is survived by a son, Michael F. Kemp and his wife, Karen of Nottingham, NH; three daughters, Doris Temple of Rollinsford, NH; Jayne Hall and her husband, Douglas of Amesbury, MA and Judith F. Kemp of Exeter, NH; two sisters, Rita Thompson of Hampstead, NH and Claire Desmarais; four grandchildren, Sara Paola, Michaela Kemp, Ben Hall and Tim Hall; four great grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, Isabella and Jaxson and several nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Albert, Gerard, Henry, Robert, Joseph, Richard and Normand Fournier and her sisters, Helene Beier and Louise Howland.

Relatives and friends may attend Lucille's Life Celebration on Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 5 to 8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  Her funeral will begin on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 9 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 10 AM in All Saints Church, Haverhill, MA.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
