Haverhill, MA:  Louise Y. (Ariel) Auger, 85, of Haverhill, MA and formerly of Groveland, MA, died on February 23, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Antoinette (Pare) Ariel.  Louise attended St. Joseph Grammar School and Haverhill High School, graduating with the Class of 1954, and later received an Associates Degree in Education from the University of Florida.

Louise first worked as a Bookkeeper for the Haverhill/Lawrence Transportation Co., and then for Marble Motors of Haverhill and finally at Kenoza Vending Company, until her retirement.

She was a member of All Saints Parish, Haverhill and the former St. Joseph Parish of Haverhill. a former resident of Groveland from 1972 until 1997 she attended  St. John the Baptist Church of Haverhill and St. Patrick's Church in Groveland.  Louise was a devoted wife, mother grandmother, and great-grandmother and cherished the special times that she was able to spend with them.

Predeceased in 2021 by her husband of sixty-five years, Irving R. Auger, she will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by a son, Michael L. Auger of Lowell, MA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith A. and Dennis Collins of Haverhill and Elizabeth and Denis Taschereau of New Durham; a brother, Norman Ariel of Haverhill; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Anthony, Nathaniel, Kristin, Viktor, Sara and Rachel and nine great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her twin- brother, Louis Ariel in 2020.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 10 AM in All Saints Church, Haverhill.  Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.  Memorial donations in Louise's memory may be made to the Boston Catholic Television, P.O.Box 9196, 34 Chestnut St., Watertown, MA.  Arrangements are under the direction of Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill.  To send a message of condolence or to leave a cherished memory, please visit our website at www.berubecomeau.com .
