Haverhill: Louis R. Ariel, 83 a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, and formerly of 17 Hillside St., died March 26, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen.

The son of the late Raymond and Antoinette (Pare) Ariel, he attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and was a member of the Haverhill Trade School Class of 1954. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Joseph Parish.

Employed at Western Electric Co., A T & T Technologies and Lucent Technologies in North Andover, until his retirement, he was a member of the Communication Worker of America AFL-CIO and the Telephone Pioneers of America

Mr. Ariel enjoyed Golfing as a member of the Lucent Golf League and working at his computer.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brother, Norman Ariel of Haverhill and sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Irving Auger of Haverhill and several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Due to the National Health Emergency, funeral services will be scheduled at a later date and are in the care of Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill.
