Lorraine R. "Lori" (St. Pierre) White, 91, died May 21, 2012 at Baker-Katz Nursing Home.
Born in Easton, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (DeLafanier) St. Pierre, she was raised in Haverhill and attended local schools including Haverhill High School.
As a young woman she worked in the local shoe industry and went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse employed for twenty years at the Hale Hospital in the maternity ward. She also worked for twenty years in the medical office of Dr. John Tatirosia, M.D. and later at the Haverhill Citizens Center and the Oxford Manor.
A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Haverhill she enjoyed doing Japanese Bunka embroidery.She also enjoyed singing and performing and participated for many years in the Hale Hospital Follies and the Comedy Masque Revue.
Affectionately known as "Meme" to many of her family and their friends, she was devoted to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The wife of the late John P. White who died in 2004, she is survived by two sons John P. "Jack" White, Jr. and his wife Laura of Haverhill and David T. White and his wife Denise of Fremont, NH; three daughters Donna McClanahan of Haverhill, Cheryl McNulty and her husband Ken of Atkinson, NH and Lynne Sargent of Haverhill; twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
