Bradford, MA: Linda J. (Greenwood) Spero, 71, of Bradford, MA died on June 22, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Haverhill and raised in Bradford, the daughter of the late George W. and Lorraine (Villers) Greenwood, Linda was a graduate of Haverhill High School Class of 1964. After graduation she started her work career at the IRS in North Andover, then worked at Savoy Leather for fifteen years where she proudly earned employee of the year, and most recently she worked at Specialized Plating Inc. as a wirer.

Linda was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish in Bradford. A fan of the Patriots and Red Sox she was also an athlete herself, playing in the Haverhill Women's Softball League. Among her other favorite activities were camping, going to the beach and enjoying lobster, Chinese food and Ray's cooking.

Linda will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her partner of 47 years Ray L. Carignan, her only son Brian K. Spero, brother Laurence A. Greenwood and his wife Marie of Haverhill, sisters Joan V. Lavalley of Fernandina Beach, FL, Roberta N. Vuytowecz of Deerfield, NH, Sandra J. Grandmaison of Bradford, and Sheila A. Mendelsohn of Georgetown, granddaughter Samantha G. Spero of Haverhill and great granddaughter Aubrey J. Chase-Spero, and many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews as well as cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers George W. Greenwood, Robert E. Greenwood, Frederick H. Greenwood, Richard P. Greenwood, and sisters Lorraine Mottram Perreault, and Jeannette M. Britton.

The family would like to acknowledge the Paul Kelly family for the kindness they extended to Linda during her illness.
