Obituary

Linda A. (D'Angelo) Pacheco passed away peacefully at her home in Danville, NH on November 16, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 22, 1956, in Lawrence, MA to the late Augustine F. and Angelina R. (Martone) D'Angelo. When Linda was seven years old, her mother married the late Anthony Perillo, who treated her as his own daughter.

She leaves behind her loving husband Louis M. Pacheco of Danville, NH, two sons John M. Pacheco & his fiancé Michelle of Plaistow, NH and Gregory M. Pacheco & Jennifer of Plaistow, NH, grandsons Tyler, Nicholas, and Jakob & his wife Kelly, and granddaughter Melina.

Linda is the sister of Gus D'Angelo & his wife Joanne of Methuen, MA, Steven D'Angelo of Melbourne, FL, Randy Perillo & his wife Michele of Stoneham, MA, Edward Perillo of Laconia, NH, and the late Dennis D'Angelo. Linda is the stepsister of Tony Perillo & his wife Gloria of Haverhill, MA, Gail (Perillo) Raynowska & her husband Mark of Haverhill, MA, and Kathy (Perillo) Howell & her husband Todd of Uniontown, PA.

Just two weeks before her passing, Linda, with her husband Louis by her side, quietly celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. The couple married in their late teens, became parents within two years, and pursued the American Dream wholeheartedly. Linda and Louis were inseparable. Linda worked day and night in support of the family's landscaping business and focused solely on the well-being of her husband, sons, parents and in-laws while maintaining a close relationship with her siblings, their spouses, and their children.

Through the years, Linda strived to create and maintain a loving family environment in the dream home that she and Louis built on a cul-du-sac beside a pond rich with birds and animals. Linda happily fed the local wildlife to keep the neighborhood vibrant with the sights and sounds of nature. She decorated that custom-built home in an intricate, stylish manner that embodied her grace. Linda toiled endlessly to provide a spotless environment for her family while spending countless hours in her kitchen. Visitors often found the house filled with the smells of an endless variety of delicious meals and desserts. Her signature cherry cheesecake bites were a highly-anticipated holiday gift for extended family and many friends alike!

Linda focused a great deal of her energy on her husband and her sons. When the boys grew into men, she helped them to build their own landscaping businesses in the image of the successful family business and to find homes of their own where they could rest after long days as she and Louis did in Danville for more than forty years. Linda lived her life in service to others. She experienced joy in making another person's load a little lighter. She shined brightest when her mother Angie and stepfather Tony carried their greatest burdens in their later years. Linda regularly visited her childhood home and helped her beloved parents maintain dignity and provided much-needed comfort as they approached the end of their lives.

She leaves behind a grateful family as well as a legacy of warming hearts, lifting spirits, and showing just how much an individual can do to improve the quality of so many lives.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at St. Lucy's Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen, MA, followed by her burial in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
