Linda A. (Carner) Grant, 76, of East Hampstead, NH, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family following the rapid onset of a very rare and aggressive form of lymphoma.  She was the devoted wife of the late Ronald Grant.

Linda is survived by her daughters: Kerri McPherson and her husband Erik of Derry, NH, Sherri Wellman and her husband Johnny of Manhattan, KS, and Kristi Freeman and her husband Glenn of San Antonio, TX.  She was sadly predeceased by her children Ryan Grant and Alison Grant. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren: Hunter Wellman, Traci Wellman, and Gregory Freeman, along with her sisters: Donna Robbins of Woburn, MA, Diane Doherty and her husband Joseph of Stoneham, MA, and Susan Carner of Londonderry, NH. She was also a wonderful aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Linda was born in Woburn, MA, and graduated from the Class of 1965 of Woburn High School.  She was employed in several jobs after high school and early into her marriage.  Upon becoming a mother, she made the choice to be a stay-at-home mom.  As a loving and caring wife and mother, she took extreme joy in providing a beautiful home for her family.  In her later years, Linda was employed as an office manager of The Birch Street Counseling Center in Londonderry, NH.  There, she enjoyed and thrived in caring for others in her own unique and special way.  Linda was a longtime member of Island Pond Baptist Church in Hampstead. She played the piano, sang in the choir, and happily volunteered in hospitality activities at the church. Throughout the years, she enjoyed socializing with friends and family, crafting, painting, bowling, playing her piano, and reading her bible.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2pm -5pm at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11am at Island Pond Baptist Church, 26 N. Salem Rd., Hampstead, NH with a memorial meal to follow at 1pm at the Puritan, in Manchester, NH. Interment to be held at a later date.
